Governors’ responsibilities for the curriculum

Full CalendarGovernance

This event will take place between 6:30pm and 8:00pm on 12/05/2021

At the heart of the new inspection handbook are the three key aims for the Quality of Education judgement - the INTENT, IMPLEMENTATION and IMPACT of the curriculum choices that governors and leaders make.

As a starting point for school inspections it is important that governors are aware of the choices they have made and can account for them when interviewed by the inspection team. This session will seek answers to some key questions::

 What is a curriculum?

 Inspection of the quality of education?

 What Ofsted’s research says?

 What should governors do?

This is a brand new training opportunity for ODBST Governors.
