Nursery Practitioner - St Mary's Church of England School
St Mary's CE School is looking to appoint a part-time nursery practitioner to work in its school nursery in January 2022. This is a popular school situated on a popular housing estate to the North of Aylesbury. The site has extensive grounds and a purpose built early years building.
St. Mary’s is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School teaching children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. As a Church of England School we offer a commitment to high academic standards together with a very caring ethos and family atmosphere. Our children enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum and leave the school as confident young people who are well-prepared for the challenges of secondary school.
We have a friendly and supportive staff and enthusiastic children who are well-behaved and keen to learn. We are part of the ODBST MAT which is a growing academy trust that recognises the uniqueness of all its individual schools.
We were judged Good in July 2019 by Ofsted.

About the role
You will work effectively as part of our established team to deliver and provide outstanding care to the children and run the lunch club.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive team player, who possess drive to ignite children's passion for learning through play.

The requirements are:
- CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare and Education or a recognized equivalent
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge and understanding of children's development and needs
- Knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection
- Experience of record keeping
